About the Role This role focuses on developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing processes for electromechanical and cable assemblies. The position partners closely with production, quality, and design teams to optimize assembly processes, create clear work instructions, and resolve manufacturing issues. The role emphasizes efficiency, quality, lean principles, and continuous improvement in a high-mix manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, analyze, and improve manufacturing and assembly processes for electromechanical and cable assemblies Interpret and analyze electrical, electromechanical, and cable schematics during development and production Create, update, and publish detailed assembly work instructions for production use Define and maintain tooling and equipment lists required for efficient assembly Support manufacturing operators by investigating technical issues and providing hands-on guidance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot manufacturing failures and implement corrective actions Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, quality, and waste reduction Analyze equipment and process performance to ensure operational excellence Utilize manufacturing data to support continuous improvement and process optimization Provide manufacturing input to product design to ensure manufacturability and efficient assembly Adhere to established manufacturing engineering processes and procedures Work closely with subject matter experts to implement functional manufacturing improvements Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, electromechanical assembly, or cable manufacturing Ability to read and analyze electrical and electromechanical schematics Experience writing and maintaining assembly work instructions Hands-on experience with mechanical or electromechanical assemblies Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with SAP or similar manufacturing systems (BOMs, routings, Q-notes) Knowledge of design for manufacturing (DFM) principles Experience applying lean manufacturing tools and process improvements Exposure to electrical engineering concepts through education or work experience Familiarity with Zuken or similar electrical design tools By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
