Manufacturing Engineer Sr Job Description Job Description Join our team as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the Machining Operations Center/Manufacturing Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for creating and improving manufacturing strategies for ultraprecision CNC machined. Our team plays a crucial role in developing and implementing solutions for technical and organizational challenges. What You Will Be Doing As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer your focus will be on driving solutions, your responsibilities will include: Deliver verbal and written status reports, highlighting project milestones and progress. Communicate project risks, solutions, and schedule impacts to stakeholders. Prioritize tasks to ensure the team is progressing in the right direction. Represent the team in programmatic reviews and status meetings. Assist in the development of proposals. Create/update work instructions, mfg. sketches, and other shop floor documentation to support production needs. Coordinate shop‑floor support as necessary to resolve technical and manufacturing issues. Organize discussions and approaches to Root Cause analysis of component non‑conformances and ensure implementation of effective Corrective Action. Monitor and report on quality, schedule, and cost performance of assigned projects/programs. - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Effective project management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience working with cross-functional groups
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems and issues as they arise
- Experience with data analytics.
- Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action tools
- Understanding of CNC machining
- Understanding of Computer Aided (CAD)
- Experience interpreting and applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) interpretation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

- The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Desired skills- Proficient in utilizing Computer Aided (CAD)
- Experience using precision measuring tools, gauges, and equipment.
- General understanding of Mil-Spec special processes (heat treatment, chem-film, anodize, passivation, organic coatings, etc.).
- Familiarity with ISO9000 and AS9100 industry standards, and common military specifications.
- SAP and Apriso experience
- Windchill PLM
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered:
