Senior Design Engineer (Ormond Beach, Florida) 1 Position Support the development of all-electric aircraft, focusing on design, documentation, and numericalanalysis. Produce airframe structural layouts, detail designs, and preliminary sizing for compositematerials. Create and maintain CAD models and drawings, ensuring structural integrity, weight, andcost targets. Coordinate manufacturing planning with the team and design mechanical fixtures forimplant testing per
ASTM F2077-14.
Use 3D printing (ABS and metal) for prototyping. ApplyDFM/DFA principles, create install drawings, and use GD&T per ASME standards. Conduct FirstArticle Inspections and ensure compliance with AS9100 standards. Bachelor's and 5 years experiencein Mechanical Engineering or related required.
