Job Description

Target PR Range:
38-48/hr
DOE Duties:
Engineering is responsible for performing research and analyses to develop design options for components, products, systems and processes. The Principle Engineer is responsible for leading cross functional engineering projects from concept through validation and implementation. This role serves as a technical and project leadership position focused on developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing and service and repair processes while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and business requirements. Job Summary The Principal Engineer will develop project timelines, coordinate resources, manage risks and drive the execution of projects to ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule to meet operational objectives. This role supports primarily capital projects for process improvements, capacity expansions and New Product Development. It is expected for this role to work independently and reporting to leadership as requested. This role reports to the Engineering Supervisor within the Engineering Organization.
Skills:
Qualifications Project management experience preferred Demonstrated experience leading cross functional projects Lean Six-Sigma, operational excellence, or continuous improvement (Kaizen) training preferred New product introduction experience Quality Management Systems experience preferred Medical Device Manufacturing/Reprocessing/Distribution experience preferred
Education:
4-8 years of experience, preferred Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
