SUMMARY & OBJECTIVE
Systems Engineer will be responsible for the complete design, application program based on customer defined specification which must be completed within budget and schedule on all assigned projects. The Systems Engineer will be required to lead the Factory Acceptance Test as well as site Acceptance Test. The Systems Engineer will be responsible to ensure the commissioning of the system on the customer's site meet all specification requirements. Demonstrate complete operation of the system to operations and engineering teams. Systems Engineer will supervise, train and coach / mentor all Technician(s) / Engineers assigned to the project.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The engineer who takes this position will create, implement, and commission complex solutions using automation equipment, HMI, SCADA, scripting, electrical controls, drives, motors, and industry technology portfolios to satisfy industrial customer requirements. Independently execute customized solutions using local and global design standards, industry standards and engineering best practices. Interface directly to customers to answer questions, resolve comments, and present industrial solutions. Prepare project-specific documentation (Proposals, system and functional descriptions, test and commissioning procedures, etc.) Collaborate with CAD specialists and design engineers to prepare project-specific drawing packages Technically review internal and external subcontractor products and solutions to ensure industry and customer requirements are satisfied. Function as site manager for small or medium projects with responsibility for manpower planning, training, scheduling, customer support and documenting all job activity. Work with Resource Managers, on assigned projects, to ensure adequate resources are assigned to complete the tasks within the defined budget and schedule, according to the proposal. Responsible to ensure PLC, HMI, and drives code meets the customer's specification and is completed within approved budget and the schedule. Inform BU Management of any issues that arise during the engineering, system test or commissioning that might lead to exceeding the budget or schedule. Lead Factory Acceptance Test Lead Site Acceptance Test for all assigned projects and obtain customer sign-off. Responsible for on-site execution of project deliverables to ensure it meets customer's specification within budget and schedule. Provide systems training to customer's engineering and operations teams. Work with Project Management team on corrective actions to ensure budget and schedule compliance. Responsible for change order management and getting customer sign off in a timely manner. Customer's point of contact for all project activities Responsible for project estimation Determine proposal feasibility by checking customer RFQs. Handle complex proposals supported by risk assessment, cash flow, scope of supply definition, responsibility matrix and project schedule.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree - BSEE and experience as Drives and Automation Engineer is required. Experience in managing complex automation and controls projects is also required. Obtain/maintain certification in Automation and Drives.
TRAVEL:
Up to 30% travel may be expected. Ability to take on additional projects as required.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Hybrid with minimum 3 days in office required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $99,000.00 per year Application Question(s): Do you have hands-on experience configuring or troubleshooting variable frequency drives in an industrial setting?
