job summary: Advanced Manufacturing Engineer is needed for an immediate direct hire role in the Augusta, GA area drive manufacturing process practices through the development and application of critical manufacturing requirements and methods to achieve manufacturing process excellence. This person will design and review technical requirements and identify appropriate manufacturing processes, influence alternative designs from a manufacturing capability perspective utilizing DFMA (design for manufacturing/assembly), process quality planning (PFMEA, control plans, SPC, etc.) and lean design and manufacturing principles. The right person for this role will be vibrant, have a proven passion for engineering, a working knowledge of material flow and manufacturing systems and and in-depth knowledge, understanding and application of APQP tools, to include process flows, process FEMAs and control plans, to meet Quality and Reliability requirements Must have a BSME, along with 7+ years of related experience and Manufacturing, supply chain and/or logistics.
