The Engineer SR position requires 10+ years of related experience and an accredited bachelor's degree. Job responsibilities:
Include creating a safe work environment by putting safety firs Understand the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance Understanding the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance, Understanding design practices and work processes Using all software applications used in design, understanding industry and the Company's design standards Supporting design standard and criteria development for the system Supporting construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations Estimating material for projects Transmitting construction packages and supporting specifications. Responsible for applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems. Supports estimate preparation, develops design options, and prepares construction specifications. Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages. Skillsets and expertise required for this position include Advanced engineering knowledge Advanced problem-solving skills Discretion making independent decisions based on procedure Advanced discipline software knowledge, strong work ethic Positive attitude The ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors. This position requires personal protective equipment This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
