Nuclear Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and preparing a variety of technical documents, calculations, and drawings, ensuring they adhere to relevant codes and processes. Your role will involve meticulous quality checks on all design modifications, emphasizing compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will participate in owner's acceptance reviews, providing critical feedback to ensure that all modifications meet the specified criteria and performance standards. While your focus will be on the technical aspects of design processes rather than specific systems, you will need to identify potential risks and advocate for necessary changes to enhance efficiency and safety. Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential, as you will need to convey complex technical concepts and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Technical review and verification of calculations, drawings, licensing revisions, owners' acceptance packages, piping, pump curves, piping layouts, stress, material compatibility.
