Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support aerospace programs. This role will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and supporting production readiness for complex components in a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing and process engineering solutions for aerospace components Lead and support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and FAI (First Article Inspection) activities Create and maintain PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) to identify and mitigate risks Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and production Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective/preventive actions Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) 3-8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering / process engineering Strong experience with PPAP, FAI, and PFMEA Experience working in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing environments Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with aerospace components or engine systems Familiarity with lean manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawingsSimilar remote jobs
