Job Description

About the Role As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will drive operational excellence by optimizing production workflows and enhancing the quality of molded fiber products. You will lead cross-functional efforts to streamline manufacturing cycles, ensuring high-performance standards and consistent output across all production lines. Responsibilities Analyze and refine manufacturing processes to boost throughput, reduce cycle times, and minimize material waste. Develop and maintain critical technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, molding specifications, and PFMEAs. Define and standardize processing parameters to ensure uniform product quality and machine efficiency. Lead Design of Experiments (DOE) and capability studies to validate process improvements and equipment performance. Supervise technical staff, overseeing quality programs, testing protocols, and laboratory operations. Coordinate plant-wide compliance with GMP standards and manage external audit requirements. Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and justify capital equipment investments. Champion a culture of safety by proactively identifying hazards and maintaining rigorous safety standards. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Proven experience in process engineering, specifically within molding or high-volume manufacturing environments. Strong proficiency in technical documentation and process optimization methodologies. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage quality control programs. Preferred Skills Experience with NSF audits and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Advanced knowledge of statistical process control and data-driven troubleshooting. Strong project management skills with a focus on capital equipment justification.
