Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the design, development, and continuous improvement of products and production processes. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, performance, and cost-efficiency . This is an excellent opportunity for an early to mid-career engineer looking to grow within a stable manufacturing environment while gaining hands-on exposure across engineering, production, and quality. Key Responsibilities Design and develop new products, components, and systems based on customer specifications Create detailed technical drawings and models using CAD software (AutoCAD preferred) Evaluate designs for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to support successful product launches Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate design performance Support testing, data collection, and product validation efforts Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in product design and production processes Assist in troubleshooting production issues and driving root cause solutions Stay current on industry trends, materials, and engineering best practices Qualifications Associate's degree in Engineering or related technical field (Bachelor's preferred) Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD strongly preferred) Working knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes Exposure to basic programming or automation tools is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and teamwork skills What We're Looking For Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Willingness to learn and grow within a manufacturing environment Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Why This Opportunity Relocation support to Northwest Iowa Opportunity to gain broad engineering experience across design and manufacturing Direct impact on product development and operational performance Stable environment with long-term growth potential Email resume to scott.slater@gogpac.com Call 515-461-1578
