Design Engineer

Perform mechanical and electrical design engineering activities for heavy construction equipment products and systems. Job Responsibilities Perform design engineering activities for heavy construction equipment Support design of mechanical components and systems, including weldments, sheet metal, hydraulics, and powertrain components Support design of electrical components and systems Design and route electrical wire harnesses Create and modify CAD models and engineering drawings Support product engineering activities from concept through design release Review designs for manufacturability, fit, function, and application requirements Work with engineering documentation related to product design and development Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related engineering field Entry-level engineering candidates may be considered with relevant internship experience Associate degree candidates may be considered with strong related experience or background CAD proficiency required CREO experience strongly preferred Experience with mechanical or electrical design engineering preferred Experience with mobile equipment, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, ATVs, SxS, motorcycles, or similar equipment preferred Preferred Skills CREO experience Wire harness design or routing experience
