Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Process Engineer III will focus on developing, optimizing, and maintaining photomask manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality, efficiency and yield. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams (e.q. Operations, Quality& IT etc.) to analyze production data, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements that enhance yield, reduce defects and meet customer specifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify areas for improvement in existing manufacturing processes and develop solutions to enhance efficiency, quality and safety Investigate and resolve technical issues related to process performance, using engineering knowledge and analytical skills Contribute to process improvement projects, potentially leading similar projects or tasks within a larger initiative Create, improve and maintain documentation related to process procedures, specifications, and troubleshooting guides Develop or modification of processes to enhance capability, throughput, and yield Support new equipment installation, process characterization, and equipment validation Compile and evaluate test and production data to determine appropriate process limits Troubleshoot process excursions and develop corrective actions to prevent their recurrence Work collaboratively with operators, other engineers and quality team throughout the manufacturing flow to conceive and plan projects to improve manufacturability Provide technical support and training to operators and technicians Additional responsibilities assigned
Travel:
Ability to travel up to 5% domestically as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages, scripting environments, and database management systems, with experience in data architecture, query optimization, system integration, and automation of complex workflows. Strong understanding of engineering principles, problem solving methodologies, and relevant manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Commitment to safety protocols and procedures. Knowledge of various cleaning, developing, etching and patterning (lithography) techniques. Knowledge of statistical process control and data analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Motiviated, independent thinker that works well with teams. Knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or ERP systems.
Experience:
3-5 years of engineering experience within semiconductor, photomask, microelectronics, or high-technology manufacturing preferred. Familiarity working in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment is preferred Certified in Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
