Design Engineer

Design Engineer We are seeking a Design Engineer to design new products and support how they are manufactured. This role translates customer and regulatory requirements into clear designs, supports prototyping and testing, and works closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Job Responsibilities:

Design products, specifications, and technical documentation Develop and test prototypes and support pre‑production builds Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project deadlines Support product testing, certification, and regulatory compliance Improve products and manufacturing processes Investigate failures, analyze data, and implement corrective actions Provide technical support to production and customers Required Skills & Experience Strong SolidWorks and CAD experience Mechanical design and manufacturing background Knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA/PFMEA, and thermal systems 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC preferred) Solid understanding of core engineering principles Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Batavia, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
