  • Full-time About the Role As a Lead Manufacturing Engineer specializing in metal forming, you will spearhead process innovation and technical strategy to enhance production efficiency across multiple sites.
This role empowers you to drive capital equipment lifecycles and optimize complex tooling systems to deliver measurable improvements in operational output. Responsibilities Direct cold forming engineering strategies to elevate manufacturing throughput and quality standards. Oversee the full lifecycle of capital equipment projects, from initial design concepts through to final production startup. Optimize tooling performance and manufacturing workflows to ensure high-level process capability. Collaborate with cross-functional plant leadership to implement data-driven solutions for operational excellence. Execute continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as DMAIC, 8D, and SPC to resolve complex technical challenges. Manage product launch phases, ensuring seamless integration of new processes and capacity planning. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Over 10 years of professional experience within automotive or high-volume metal forming manufacturing. Proven expertise in cold forming process development and tooling design. Proficiency in CAD/CAE software, Minitab, and SPC analytical tools. Preferred Skills Demonstrated success in managing large-scale capital expenditure projects. Advanced knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems. Strong leadership background in driving lean manufacturing and process innovation.
