SolidWorks Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and development of innovative products in a fast-paced engineering environment. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical product design experience. Experience with injection-molded components is preferred, but candidates with a solid background in mechanical design and product development will also be considered.
Job Duties:
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies Create and maintain 3D CAD models and engineering drawings Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams Support prototype builds, testing, and design improvements Participate in design reviews and engineering change activities Ensure designs are manufacturable, reliable, and cost-effective
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 5+ years of mechanical design experience Strong CAD and product development experience Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes Injection molding experience preferred Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
