Job Description:
Role & Responsibilities:
Create new or modify existing cooling components and systems based on customer/project requirements Work as part of a project team to coordinate component/system development and determine project scope and limitations Review project requests describing customer needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish projects Design, develop, build, and implement new cooling system components, products, or technologies Create 3D design components/systems and support prototype building, testing, and analysis Communicate with customers and cross-functional engineering teams to develop production-ready products Assist with supplier development and supplier performance alongside supply specialists and buyers Oversee drafting and testing activities as needed Develop and document functional requirements and translate them into detailed design documentation Participate in buy-build analysis for product components Support proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports Test and evaluate alternative production methods and assist in building complex prototypes
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Creo (PTC Creo) for 3D modeling and drafting Experience creating and modifying 2D and 3D engineering drawings Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Understanding of cooling systems, thermodynamics, or thermal technologies Ability to support the product development lifecycle (requirements ? design ? testing ? delivery) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 3-4 years of mechanical design experience Hands-on experience using Creo CAD software Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred:
Experience with prototype development and testing Exposure to supplier coordination or manufacturing environments Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives and prioritize effectively
Work Environment:
Onsite, office/cubicle environment Daily interaction with internal teams and customers (in-person and virtual) Combination of independent work and collaborative project work #LI-LH1
