Job Description:

Manufacturing Engineer - Reman About the Role This position is responsible for implementing, analyzing, and constantly improving remanufacturing procedures. The Manufacturing Engineer ensures product quality and contributes to the development of innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of our remanufacturing operations. We're looking for a hands-on Engineering lead and systems thinker to help build and lead our remanufacturing business unit. This individual will be building processes such as intake, teardown, repair, QA, and redeployment - as well as BOM standardization across SKU's. They will assist in developing workflows and KPIs related to throughput, yield, and cost. The Manufacturing Engineer will work cross-functionally with existing Morey resources to ensure a high standard of operational performance. What You'll Do Establish remanufacturing standards (intake, triage, repair, QA, redeployment) and processes Develop documentation for remanufacturing processes, including work instructions, process flows, and quality checklists Handle component obsolescence, design-for-repair changes, and field failures Partner with engineering on diagnostics and failure analysis Own operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives Establish and sustain supplier relationships for components and repair inputs Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards and regulations Must Have Bachelor's in Engineering (preferably Electrical) 5+ years experience in electronics, automotive, or similar industry 3+ years experience in remanufacturing Understanding of reman workflows and standard operating procedures Systems thinker who can solve operational problems through cross functional collaboration and ideation Strongly Preferred Experience in IoT connectivity devices or telematics refurbishment Exposure to/experience with 5S Why This Role Matters Remanufacturing represents a significant opportunity for Morey and its future.
