Job Description

Design Engineer Summary:
The Design Engineer is responsible for researching, designing, and developing new products, systems, and manufacturing processes for Amphenol Energy Technologies. This role applies strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to support product innovation, quality, and production efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and sustained focus in a collaborative setting. Knowledge /

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred) or related field Minimum of five (5) years of related design engineering experience Proficiency in CAD software and relevant engineering tools Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience with electrical systems, cables, connectors, or power applications preferred Duties /
Responsibilities:
Research new materials, components, and manufacturing processes Design and develop prototypes and engineering solutions Create and maintain engineering drawings, models, and specifications Analyze test data and validate design performance Develop and improve manufacturing processes and workflows Support continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams Manage design-related production costs and efficiency Oversee design implementation through production Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
