at Actalent in Fox River Grove, Illinois, United States Job Description Manufacturing Engineer Job Overview Provides engineering support for manufacturing equipment in a medical device environment, focusing on Needle Punch and Label Printing. Responsible for equipment installation, validation, troubleshooting, and driving process improvements while ensuring GMP compliance. Key Responsibilities + Support manufacturing equipment and operations for Needle Punch and Label Printing. + Assist with FAT , equipment installation, commissioning, and integration. + Develop equipment layouts and support facility changes. + Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and internal teams to resolve issues. + Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and control plans. + Lead/execute validations ( URS , IQ, OQ, PQ) in compliance with GMP . + Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with cross-functional teams. + Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives. + Provide hands-on support for equipment setup, alignment, and startup. Qualifications & Skills + Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) + 2+ years relevant experience. + Experience with manufacturing equipment, automation, and process improvements. + Knowledge of FAT , installation, commissioning, and validations (IQ/OQ/PQ). + Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar tools. + Understanding of GMP requirements. + Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. + Hands-on experience on the production floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fox River Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00
