Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer at our Fulton Manufacturing Plant is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and high-quality production. This role requires a strongmitment to safety, continuous improvement, and effective project management. The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with production teams to solveplex problems, enhance productivity, and ensurepliance with industry standards.
Essential Job Duties:
Safety Compliance:
Ensure adnce to all safety protocols and prores. Promote a culture of safety within the plant, conduct safety audits, and collaborate with leadership to enhance safety performance.
Continuous Improvement:
Lead initiatives to enhance productivity, ce waste, and improve safety. Identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes. This includes solving production issues, optimizing workflows, and ensuringpliance with industry standards.
Project Management:
Manage multiple projects, including delegating assignments to maintenance, and operative associates. Oversee the work of contractors and suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective implementation of new technologies.
Problem Solving:
Implement advanced problem-solving techniques to develop permanent solutions to critical issues. Work with associates from Production to conduct root cause analysis, develop countermeasures, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; and 4 years manufacturing experience.
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, gauging, controls and mechanical or electrical engineering design principles.
Experience with CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
Experience with SAP or other ERP system.
Ability to manage projects independently, with available support as needed.
Strong critical thinking andmunication skills (verbal & written).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Preferred:
Proficiency in machine design, process optimization, and quality control.
Hands on experience in manufcturing and support shop floor problem solving.
Experience in stamping presses and die design.
Experience with time studies.
The yearlypensation for this role is $69,680 - $105,840, ismensurate on experience andcation, and could pay more or less than the posted range. This full-time position is eligible to participate in thepany's short-term incentive program, paid time off plan, 401k, andprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
