Entry Level Design Engineer (Solidworks)

Design Engineer Looking for a entry level Design Engineer to join the team of this manufacturing company! Looking for someone with internship experience or 1-2 years experience. Some basic design and Solidworks experience is what they are looking for. Responsibilities Control the ECO process while maintaining open communication with sales teams. Learn and apply calculations for pressure vessels using Codeware. Manage internal ERP by controlling item masters, BOMs, and routing steps. Adapt and integrate internal manufacturing capabilities. Serve as the controller for PDM. Prepare diagrams and drafts for mechanical devices and machines. Calculate dimensions and tolerance stack up using measuring instruments. Comprehend and utilize Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies. Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload. Coordinate with colleagues regarding complex diagrams. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gurnee, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
