Job Description
About the Role As a Manufacturing Launch Engineer, you will serve as a critical technical lead for bringing new product lines from development into full-scale production. You will utilize your expertise in automation systems and process optimization to ensure manufacturing readiness, driving efficiency and quality from the initial trial phase through to steady-state operations. Responsibilities Direct the end-to-end launch lifecycle for new product introductions and major process modifications. Validate and optimize complex assembly, molding, and welding workflows to maximize throughput and minimize downtime. Execute root cause analysis to resolve technical bottlenecks and improve overall equipment effectiveness. Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance and quality teams to ensure seamless equipment integration and process stability. Perform rigorous capability studies and data analysis to refine production specifications and work instructions. Manage technical coordination with external machinery and tooling vendors to meet project milestones. Facilitate knowledge transfer by training production staff on new equipment operation and safety protocols. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field. Proven experience in manufacturing launch, process engineering, or production support within industrial settings. Strong technical proficiency with pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated manufacturing systems. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex technical schematics, blueprints, and engineering documentation. Hands-on troubleshooting mindset with a focus on floor-level problem solving. Preferred Skills Direct experience with PLC programming and logic troubleshooting. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks for process design and layout. Prior experience in high-volume automotive or precision manufacturing environments. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple technical priorities simultaneously.
