The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $96.514-$127,886.88. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria. Join Our Team as a Manager - Manufacturing Quality Engineer III! The Manufacturing Quality Engineer III is responsible for managing quality-focused projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes and product reliability. This role acts as a liaison between manufacturing and quality teams, driving initiatives to enhance performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Improvement Projects:

Lead and execute projects that address manufacturing quality issues and optimize processes.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, develop solutions, and track progress.

Problem Solving Support:

Support major problem-solving efforts related to production quality, acting as a key contributor and knowledge source for the functions.

Customer Escape Containment:

Contribute to customer escape containment and resolution activities by analyzing defects, implementing corrective actions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing quality. Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)

Reduction:

Support efforts to reduce the cost of poor quality (COPQ), participating in production stop and stop-ship events, assisting with root cause analysis, and implementing corrective measures to enhance quality performance.

Documentation Review:

Review prints and acceptance criteria for accuracy, assisting with defect identification, disposition, and deviation processes to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.

Process Optimization:

Develop and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce defects.

Quality Support & Collaboration:

Provide quality support for operations, working closely with production teams to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvements. Support the resolution of complex quality issues, utilizing advanced problem-solving tools to identify root causes and implement effective preventative measures.

Metrics & Feedback Utilization:

Utilize quality feedback and metrics to identify opportunities for design and process improvements, driving data-driven decision-making across the company.

Team Support:

Support other quality engineers in their work, setting standards and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the quality engineering team.

Industry Trends & Innovation:

Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant advancements into the company's approach to quality engineering.

Compliance:
