Earthmoving Division has an exciting career opportunity for you as a Manufacturing/Distribution Engineer within the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence (SC COE) team. Our vision is to provide operations and value chain solutions that transform product strategy into reality. As a Manufacturing Engineer within the SC COE, you will lead efforts aimed at driving agility, flexibility, and visibility across the entire network, to deliver products and services to our customers with the highest safety, quality, velocity, and world competitive cost. In addition, this role will deliver results related to product distribution, product availability, and late product differentiation through the business cycles. This role engages with a diverse, geographically dispersed team of professionals to drive and deliver OPACC results. What you can look forward to in this role: Implement distribution solutions in alignment with the product strategy Manage the deployment of projects centered around OPACC Improvement Agenda (OIA) as applicable Develop and coordinate the projects from strategy to execution regarding product distribution Work with Global Transportation and Logistics teams to implement transportation and logistics solutions that impact product manufacturing, quality, cost, and availability. Lead collaboration and communication across multiple business division functions, which may include implementing changes to product Value Add work and assembly processes Develop assembly and validation standards for Value Add work performed within the product distribution and storage process Coordinate quality and engineering change management regarding EMD product offerings distributed through the EPCs (Equipment Processing Centers) A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:Manufacturing Engineering:
Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in product manufacturing; ability to develop and implement strategies, practices and tools for controlling the whole processesProject Management:
Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.Decision Making and Critical Thinking:
Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Quality & Change Management:
Basic knowledge of the processes, practices and systems used in product quality issue and design change management.Problem Solving:
Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Strategic Thinking:
Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization. Top Candidates for this position may also have: Experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and/or Quality CPS, Six Sigma Black Belt or project management experience Previous experience with or exposure to Earthmoving products Experience as a strong collaborator including interpersonal and negotiation skills to drive common processes across multiple EPC facilities within a product. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve very complex problems Caterpillar Product knowledgeAdditional Information:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
