Job Description:

Manufacturing Engineer The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for creating detailed work instructions for assembly and packaging lines, analyzing production data, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle time, scrap, and downtime. Responsibilities Create and maintain comprehensive work instructions for assembly and packaging lines. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement. Implement process improvements to reduce cycle time, scrap, and downtime. Develop setup sheets, work instructions, and machining procedures. Analyze workflow and recommend layout and process improvements. Essential Skills Proficiency in creating work instructions. Experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus. Experience in fixture design and packaging is advantageous. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $47.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
