Process Engineer

Process Engineer Job Description This position involves hands-on activities related to engineering, manufacturing, and quality improvement within the company. The Process Engineer is tasked with enhancing manufacturing and engineering efficiencies, collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and purchasing teams on various projects. The role includes developing and implementing engineering improvements in the manufacturing area and supporting all phases of the manufacturing process. Essential Skills Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. 1+ years of previous work experience in a manufacturing environment. General knowledge of technologies and methodologies used in continuous process improvement, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methods, and 5S activities. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, diagrams, and procedure manuals. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, continuous improvement, and manufacturing processes, particularly in stamping and stamping press environments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bluffton, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $32.70/hr.
