Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement PLC systems for various automated systems used in manufacturing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and technical requirements. Program PLCs, HMIs, and other industrial automation components. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of PLC systems to ensure operational efficiency. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to production and maintenance teams. Maintain documentation for all PLC programming and related technical processes. Monitor the performance of automated systems and suggest improvements as needed. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation technology. Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text).- Rockwell, GE or Siemens Proficient in industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus). Familiarity with industrial control systems and automation technologies. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams. Ability to draft in AutoCAD Electrical Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Desired Experience:
3-5 years of experience in industrial automation or a related field. Hands-on experience with PLCs from major manufacturers (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens). Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Project management experience is a plus.
