Job Description:
Morales Professional Services is currently conducting a search for a qualified Manufacturing Engineer for a growing client in Elkhart, IN. We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team of nine Engineers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and optimization of manufacturing processes, ensuring the production of high-quality products efficiently and cost-effectively. Specific Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and supply chain, to ensure seamless production operations. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues promptly to minimize downtime. Develop and maintain documentation related to manufacturing procedures and standards. Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and implement corrective actions. Support new product introductions and process validations. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with 3-8 years of applicable experience.
Other attributes include:
Proven experience in manufacturing process development and optimization. Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies, tools, and equipment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
