Senior Process Engineer - Seats Production Join a Team Focused on Manufacturing Excellence We're seeking a Senior Process Engineer to help drive operational performance within our Seats Production manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, improving production processes, and making a measurable impact on efficiency, quality, and cost. As a key member of the engineering team, you'll work cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Leadership to optimize manufacturing processes, support new product launches, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. What You'll Do Develop, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and efficiency. Conduct time studies, work measurements, and line balancing activities to optimize production performance. Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen, 5S, waste reduction, and continuous improvement projects. Design and improve plant layouts, workstation ergonomics, and material flow strategies. Analyze production capacity and determine equipment, tooling, and manpower requirements. Support capital equipment planning and implementation. Monitor key performance indicators such as cycle time, OEE, productivity, and scrap rates. Identify root causes of manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with Quality teams to ensure processes meet customer and company standards. Support new product launches through process development, validation, and manufacturing readiness activities. Create and maintain PFMEAs, work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or industrial engineering. Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with process optimization, time studies, line balancing, and capacity planning. Knowledge of PFMEA, root cause analysis, and manufacturing quality systems. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Automotive manufacturing experience, especially within seating, interiors, or assembly operations. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience supporting new product launches and manufacturing transfers. Familiarity with automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies. Why Join Us?
