Job Description

Overview The Mechanical Engineer supports Electric Vehicle inverter manufacturing programs within the regional Product Engineering group. Responsibilities for the opportunity include establishing and supporting manufacturing equipment, processes, and quotations while ensuring equipment meets product and customer requirements. The role involves equipment verification, manufacturing processes, and qualification for mass production and cross functional collaboration. Must Have Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering Equivalent experience, (5-7 years) with hands-on manufacturing equipment support 2+ years of design, specify, install, and validate mechanical production equipment in coordination with Manufacturing Process Engineers and equipment integrators 2+ years of lead or support equipment startup, commissioning, ramp-up, and in-process performance validation on the production line 2+ years of troubleshoot mechanical equipment and conveyor systems to ensure stable, safe, and efficient operation 2+ years of ensure all equipment meets design specifications, safety standards, and operator protection requirements Duties & Time Allocation Evaluate inverter products, processes, and equipment (40%) Develop technology, resources, and production readiness (30%) Support new business evaluations (20%) Resolve mass production equipment issues (5%) Other duties as assigned (5%) Nice To Have Skills Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and exercise sound business judgment Capable of preparing clear reports and communicating technical findings to management Maintain functional knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and procedures Work Environment Minimal if any travel, if any would be regional travel. Open office environment Manufacturing floor exposure with noise
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
