Develop innovative and practical solutions to overcome complex manufacturing challenges. Take on additional responsibilities as delegated by the Engineering Manager.

LHH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client in Greenwood, IN. This is a newly created position where you will join a long-standing organization who has a strong reputation within their industry and has doubled in size over the last few years. You will work with a variety of manufacturing equipment, complete continuous improvement projects, implement Lean manufacturing techniques, assist with new product designs, and more. The compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $80,000-85,000 per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive medical insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan.- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and refine manufacturing workflows by assessing product specifications, evaluating feasibility, making adjustments, and validating production processes and machinery to achieve optimal outcomes. Execute capital investment initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts across production processes. Facilitate or lead Kaizen workshops aimed at streamlining operations, applying Lean methodologies, enhancing product quality, and more. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor Degree in Engineering is required (NON-NEGOTIABLE) Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience within a manufacturing setting is required Must have experience working on the production floor with various types of manufacturing equipment Must possess the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams/schematics Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills Must possess strong analytical, trouble-shooting, and problem-solving skills Must be a highly motivated, self-starter who is able to succeed with little supervision Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively work as part of a cross-functional team- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
