Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, improving, and sustaining production processes to deliver high-quality products efficiently, safely, and at optimal cost. They serve as the link between product design and manufacturing, applying new technologies, resolving equipment issues, and streamlining workflows using lean principles. Their work includes upgrading machinery, defining production methods, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Process Improvement:
Evaluate and refine production methods to boost efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce costs
Production Planning:
Develop workflows, arrange equipment layouts, and establish assembly processes for new and existing products
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and fix equipment problems while addressing production bottlenecks
Quality Control:
Create and maintain quality standards, including testing and inspection procedures
Equipment Management:
Identify, install, and validate new manufacturing equipment
Collaboration:
Partner with design, R D, and leadership teams to move products from prototype to full-scale production
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all processes meet health, safety, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical,
Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering Technical Skills:
Experience with CAD tools (such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD), PLC programming, and automation systems (e.g., robotics and sensors)
Methodologies:
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis techniques
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, project management, and communication abilities
