Controls Engineer

Description Located in Kokomo, Indiana, the primary business unit is electric vehicle battery manufacturing; however, due to the current EV market, we have began to diversify the business, such as the energy storage system vertical. We are seeking a Electrical Controls Engineer to assist and validate incoming equipment from overseas to adhere to Samsung SDI and ISO manufacturing standards. This project will include but not limited to:

• Assist and lead the evaluation of schematics and electrical safety of new equipment
• Take part in reviewing machine manuals, wiring, and PLC ladder logic
• Asist and lead in the integration and commissioning of new equipment
• Work cross-functionally with Automation, Vision, and Process Engineering
