Job Description:
Role Summary The Telemetry Deployment Engineer is responsible for supporting the preparation, deployment, integration, and ongoing support of telemetry and data acquisition solutions across manufacturing environments. This role connects machine operations, production data, and IT systems to ensure reliable connectivity, high-quality data, and successful adoption during implementation and scale-up. Key Responsibilities Execute site-level deployment of telemetry and data collection solutions, coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, and IT teams Act as an on-site technical integrator, translating machine, operational, and IT requirements into practical deployment solutions Apply understanding of machine tools, tooling concepts, and machine-generated data to support implementation Validate and troubleshoot data streams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability Work within organizational IT environments, including networking basics, system architecture, cybersecurity policies, and access requirements Identify, escalate, and resolve issues related to connectivity, data quality, and cross-functional coordination Support standardization of deployment processes and readiness across multiple manufacturing locations Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field Experience supporting manufacturing technology, production systems, or deployment projects General familiarity with CNC machines, tooling, and machine data concepts Working knowledge of manufacturing data and its operational context Basic understanding of networking concepts and ability to work within IT security frameworks Ability to collaborate across Operations, Maintenance, and IT teams and translate requirements effectively Preferred Qualifications Experience with machine connectivity, telemetry, or digital manufacturing solutions Background in manufacturing engineering, industrial automation, or operational technology
