Job Description

Manufacturing Quality Engineer Overview We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support new product and process development within a growing manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring a safe, efficient, and successful plant launch while delivering the highest quality standards across assembly operations. The position partners closely with internal teams and external suppliers to exceed customer expectations. What You'll Do Develop and implement robust quality assurance and control processes for Sub-Assembly and General Assembly Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality requirements into manufacturing processes Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions for technical and process issues Perform audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards during new product launch Partner with supplier quality teams to establish and monitor expectations for incoming materials Create and maintain quality documentation including Control Plans, inspection procedures, and manuals Utilize risk assessment tools to minimize risk and validate detection and prevention systems Support development and maintenance of FMEAs Help define quality processes and technical standards with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams Assist with product testing, validation activities, and system approvals Provide day-to-day quality support to technical and manufacturing teams Support ongoing production and continuous improvement initiatives What You Bring Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 3+ years (or equivalent experience) Strong experience supporting manufacturing plant launches and new program delivery Solid understanding of product and vehicle development processes Proven track record delivering programs on time while meeting quality metrics Strong problem-solving skills with root cause analysis experience Deep knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices Experience with automotive quality standards and tools (AIAG, IATF 16949, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP) Working knowledge of FMEAs and Control Plans Strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills High level of integrity with a data-driven mindset Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment Compensation Salary range: $120,000 - $130,000 Compensation is based on experience, skills, education, location, and other relevant factors. #IND1 #ZR
