Job Description:
Shape the Future of Defense Aviation Join a team where your engineering expertise directly impacts the development and modification of advanced business and military aircraft platforms. As a Senior Structural Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting aircraft modifications, special mission installations, structural design solutions, and manufacturing support activities for some of the industry's most sophisticated aircraft. This is an opportunity to work on highly visible defense and special mission programs while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, quality, and certification teams . What You'll DoDevelop structural design solutions to support aircraft modifications, production challenges, and special mission installation s.

Investigate aircraft build issues and create practical engineering solutions to support manufacturing operation s.

Author temporary and permanent engineering dispositions to resolve non-conformances and production concern s.

Perform MRB (Material Review Board) activities, including evaluation and disposition of aircraft non-conformance s.

Coordinate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program teams to implement structural modification s.

Create and release engineering documentation, installation packages, and engineering change request s.

Support flight test programs by developing and coordinating structural engineering change s.

Lead technical investigations and provide guidance to engineering teams during aircraft modification project s.

Support special mission and aftermarket aircraft integration activities from concept through installatio n. Required Qualificati onsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related discipli ne.10+ years of aircraft structural design experien ce.

Experience supporting aircraft modifications, manufacturing support, or production engineeri ng.

Previous experience in Special Missions, Defense, VIP Completion, or Aftermarket aircraft modification progra ms.

Experience leading engineering teams or providing technical leadership on complex projec ts.

Strong understanding of aircraft structures, installations, and certification requiremen ts.

U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency required due to ITAR regulatio ns. Preferred Qualificat ionsExpert-level
