Job Description:
Akkodis is seeking a Sr Advanced Manufacturing Engineer role is a 6+ Months Contract with a client located in Danville, KY .
Pay Range:
$40-$44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Description:
Join a team of professional engineers who are making manufacturing more efficient and consistent. You will leverage your manufacturing engineering experience and skills to lead the investigation and solution of challenging supply chain problems. You will use your leadership abilities to contribute to the evaluation of the process to meet product specifications. Through collaboration with customers and cross functional teams, you will prioritize team workload and drive exceptional team outcomes. As a Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will use your technical and behavioral competencies in order to deliver high impact business results.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabrication and Assembly Processes
  • Capital Acquisition
  • Automation, Digital Factory
  • Able to identify, plan and execute strategic projects
  • Interpret and Apply Product Specifications
  • Review quality output and coach team improvements
  • Collaborate with customers
  • Project Planning and Execution Oversight
  • Resource management in dynamic environment
  • Organic growth with productivity projects / factory optimization
  • Root cause problem solving and solution implementation
  • Up to 20% travel is required
  • YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Bachelor degree required. Other degree will be considered but must have relevant experience in terms of content and length of time
  • 5 years of Industrial/Advanced/Manufacturing Engineering

  • Capability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on tasks
  • Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done
  • Significant relevant manufacturing engineering experience
  • Lean manufacturing, process mapping, value stream mapping, green belt or higher.
