Danville, Kentucky, United States Talascend is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Danville, Kentucky. Overview As a senior advanced manufacturing engineer, you will be part of a team dedicated to improving efficiency and consistency in manufacturing processes. You will leverage your manufacturing engineering experience to lead investigations, develop solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications are met and operational excellence is achieved. Responsibilities Fabrication and assembly processes.
Capital acquisition.
Automation, digital factory.
Able to identify, plan, and execute strategic projects.
Interpret and apply product specifications.
Review quality output and coach team improvements.
Collaborate with customers.
Project planning and execution oversight.
Resource management in a dynamic environment.
Organic growth with productivity projects and factory optimization.
Root cause problem solving and solution implementation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Five years of industrial, advanced, or manufacturing engineering experience. Preferred Qualifications Advanced knowledge of the field's standards and specifications.
Computer literacy.
Ability to focus on important information and identify key details.
Capability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on tasks.
Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes.
Self-motivated individuals able to work with little supervision.
Willingness to consistently take initiative.
Significant relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
Lean manufacturing, process mapping, value stream mapping, green belt or higher. We thank all applicants for their interest.
