Excellent ability to apply a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving Experience with 3D Solid Modeling and Simulation Software Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement Siemens NX (3D modeling and drafting) experience a plus (design of work holding, inspection tooling as well as Injection, Compression, and RTM molds Composites Manufacturing experience a plus keying on knowledge of thermoset and thermoplastic materials and chemistry
Job Description:
The Engineer 2, Manufacturing provides a range of expertise in supporting and improving the manufacturing capabilities to produce products. The Engineer will contribute to improving a range of fabrication processes that can directly impact the sustaining and growth efforts of operations. deployment/maintenance of data collection and monitoring equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, programming, assembly, tooling, and materials Develops manufacturing processes and designs by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and implementing manufacturing methods and equipment. Optimization of process and consulting with process engineers on a "design for manufacturability" approach Understands and minimize both technical process variability and human process variability Participates in Design and NC Programming and maintaining revision control for processes and designs Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements. Coordinates with outside vendors on development and design of turn-key automated systems. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Job Qualification:
Education:
Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Years' Experience:
3 - 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment Excellent ability to apply a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving Experience with 3D Solid Modeling and Simulation Software NC/Robot Programming experience preferred Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement Ability to explain a range of complex technical information LI_TSC About our

$62,000.00 - $104,000.00 per hour
