Job Description

Training Content Creator - Engineering & Manufacturing Training Position Overview We are seeking a Training Content Creator to develop engaging and effective eLearning content that supports engineering and manufacturing teams. In this role, you will collaborate with subject matter experts to transform technical and operational information into interactive, learner-focused training materials. The ideal candidate has experience with instructional design, eLearning development, and adult learning principles, along with strong skills in tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive eLearning modules using Articulate 360 Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar authoring tools. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operational subject matter experts to gather requirements and create training content. Apply instructional design methodologies to develop effective learning experiences. Create multimedia content including graphics, animations, assessments, and voice-over scripts. Ensure training content is compatible with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM standards. Conduct quality reviews and testing of training materials before release. Maintain consistency in branding, formatting, and instructional standards. Update and improve existing training content based on feedback, process changes, and performance metrics. Manage multiple training development projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of experience developing eLearning or digital training content. Hands-on experience with Articulate 360 Storyline or Adobe Captivate. Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory. Experience working with LMS platforms and SCORM-compliant content. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Ability to travel up to 20% within North America, including Canada and Mexico. Ability to work additional hours as project needs require. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, automotive, or technical training environments. Experience with Articulate Rise 360. Experience using Camtasia or similar video editing software. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). Experience coordinating voice-over production and multimedia development. Familiarity with HTML/CSS and eLearning accessibility standards (WCAG). Experience measuring training effectiveness and analyzing learner performance metrics.
