Position Overview:
CMTA, a Legence Company, is hiring a Technology Solutions Design Engineer . This position provides a unique opportunity for hands-on training in Technology Systems design. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well with a team and independently. Our engineers will teach you how we design and implement various Technology systems including but not limited to Security, Audio Visual, IT Infrastructure, and IT active equipment. This is a great opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and complex Technology projects in our industry, and become an important part of our design team. Learn first hand how Technology system integrate with each other to provide the most secure and high preforming buildings. This is an onsite position and will be located in our Louisville office.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce detailed layout and equipment details of Technology systems of buildings Produce one-line diagrams/schematics Assist the design team in the process of assembling organized sets of drawings May assist in the data collection and/or field verification Work in conjunction with designers and engineers to help develop all aspects of a project Effectively manage and prioritize responsibilities to meet project deadlines
Desired Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering Strong interest in Technology Systems and Electrical Engineering Internship or co-op experience in a technology solutions design role AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, Ability to work both independently and with a team Ability to travel locally for field work #LI-CC1 #LI-Onsite About Legence Legence (
