Are you a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and supporting automation in a manufacturing environment? If so, then the Assembly Manufacturing Engineer position at Hydro-Gear may be the opportunity for you. The Assembly Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, building, programming, and supporting the automated assembly systems that produce Hydro-Gear products. In this role, you will support assembly operations through process improvement, equipment optimization, tooling and fixture design, automation projects, and troubleshooting efforts that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability. • Please note, we are not able to consider candidates who currently or in the future will require visa sponsorship. Manufacturing Engineer Assembly:

Conduct continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability of assembly processes Design, build, and implement assembly tooling, fixtures, and error-proofing solutions Troubleshoot and support automated assembly equipment, PLC-controlled systems, and production machinery Develop and maintain assembly process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures Analyze production data and identify opportunities to reduce downtime, improve throughput, and eliminate waste Support new product launches and equipment installations within assembly operations Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to resolve process and equipment issues Manage assembly equipment modifications, upgrades, and validation activities Assist with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for assembly-related concerns Support projects related to assembly automation and process improvements At Hydro-Gear, we offer a collaborative environment, professional growth opportunities, and the ability to make a real impact in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
