Support day-to-day CNC machining operations directly on the production floor Convert engineering designs into end-to-end manufacturing plans, including material selection, work holding/fixture design, multi-axis CNC programming, inspection strategies, finishing processes, and assembly steps Create, refine, and optimize multi-axis CNC programs using simulation and analysis tools Identify and implement process improvements using data, best practices, and innovative approaches to increase efficiency and lower costs Assist with new product introduction (NPI) efforts to enable faster production readiness Partner with Operations and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure smooth execution Lead continuous improvement efforts and establish standardized machining processes and best practices Analyze metrology results and SPC data to maintain process control and meet quality requirements Verify and validate NC programs using Vericut (CGTech) and CIMCO Edit Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on advanced machining methods and tooling strategiesWhat You Will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering (or related field) Minimum of 2 years' experience creating CNC programs for metal components Foundational understanding of high-speed machining, cutting tools, and machine capabilities Ability to read and apply engineering drawings, including GD&T principles Solid knowledge of CNC equipment capabilities and work holding/fixture design Experience with 5-axis CNC programming Proficiency in Siemens NX and/or Creo for CAD/CAM applications Hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Driven, results-oriented mindset Clear and effective written and verbal communication skillsPay Range:
$43.27/hour - $50.48/hour Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site, first shift position located in Andover, MA . You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working first shift hours (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM). Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Travel Requirements:
Due to the nature of the work, 5% of travel is required.Citizenship Requirement:
