This role serves as a key technical resource supporting production efficiency, product quality, manufacturability, and compliance with ISO 9001 and
ISO 13485
standards. Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams, the Manufacturing Engineer translates customer requirements into scalable, cost-effective, and repeatable manufacturing solutions. The role supports all phases of the product lifecycle, including new product introduction (NPI), process development, tooling and fixture design, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and customer support activities. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on manufacturing engineering experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of electromechanical assembly processes, diagnostics, and process optimization within regulated manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities Develop, improve, and support manufacturing processes for electromechanical assemblies and cable/harness products. Support testing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for production and field-returned products. Convert customer drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation into internal manufacturing formats and procedures. Manage engineering changes, customer revisions, and ECO processes. Create and maintain assembly, testing, packaging, inspection, and manufacturing procedures. Design and qualify production fixtures, tools, and test equipment to improve efficiency and product consistency. Support prototype builds, NPI activities, and collaboration with offshore manufacturing facilities. Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and recommend process improvements to enhance quality, throughput, and cost performance. Assist with costing, quotations, and RFQ reviews by developing costed BOMs and manufacturing estimates. Support ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
quality management system documentation and compliance efforts. Train employees on manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process improvements. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve technical and manufacturing issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. 3-5 years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in electromechanical or cable/harness assembly environments. Experience supporting manufacturing operations, NPI programs, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong understanding of diagnostics, test process development, and root cause analysis. Experience working in ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485
certified manufacturing environments. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and ERP systems. Strong communication, organizational, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in contract manufacturing supporting multiple customers and product lines. Familiarity with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-A-610
workmanship standards. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, and process validation methodologies. Experience collaborating with offshore manufacturing facilities and suppliers. Pay:
