Manufacturing Engineer II ???? Chelmsford, MA (Fully Onsite) | Direct Hire I'm partnering with a growing, innovative organization in the electronics/electromechanical space that is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer II to their team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role supporting the production of complex cable and harness assemblies . ????
What You'll Do:
Own and support manufacturing processes for cable/harness products Drive continuous improvement through process development and problem solving Develop programs for production equipment Create and maintain routing, BOMs, work instructions, and visual aids Design and implement tooling and fixturing to support production Interpret engineering drawings, specs, and customer requirements Act as a technical liaison between engineering, production, and customers Support DFM efforts throughout the product lifecycle Evaluate costs, improve efficiency, and ensure quality/yield targets are met ?
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience) 6+ years in electronics or electromechanical manufacturing (contract manufacturing a plus) Strong understanding of drawings, BOMs, and engineering change notices Experience with circuit card assembly and cable/harness builds Detail-oriented with strong communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office ????
