We offer great benefits, a 9/80 work schedule and career advancement. What You'll Do Be the Problem‑Solver on the Floor Provide hands-on engineering support to manufacturing and service teams. Troubleshoot issues involving equipment, tooling, automation, materials, and processes. Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions that stick. Analyze production data to spot trends, recurring issues, and risks before they become problems. Develop permanent, scalable solutions that stabilize and improve production. Stay Ahead of Issues Before They Happen Track key metrics—downtime, scrap, yield, rework—to understand process health. Use data and cross-functional insights to anticipate constraints or failures. Build control plans, standard work, and monitoring systems that prevent repeat issues. Maintain clear documentation of issues, actions, and lessons learned. Shape the Future of Automation Program, modify, and support automation systems including PLCs, robotics, and automated assembly/test equipment. Support equipment setup, optimization, troubleshooting, and validation. Partner with Maintenance and vendors to boost automation reliability. Identify new automation opportunities that improve safety, throughput, and cost. Lead Continuous Improvement Develop and execute improvement strategies aligned with business goals. Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and CI initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and standardization. Strengthen long-term manufacturing capability, scalability, and resilience. Build and Refine Processes Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, routings, and tooling. Ensure processes are robust, repeatable, and capable of meeting quality and production targets. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) through DFM/DFA reviews and process validation. Keep manufacturing documentation accurate and up to date. Collaborate Across the Organization Work closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering. Support quality investigations, CAPA, and audit activities. Ensure compliance with applicable quality systems and regulatory requirements. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related engineering field. 3-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or production support. Strong troubleshooting skills and a track record of implementing lasting corrective actions. Experience with automation systems (PLC, robotics, automated assembly/test equipment). Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, controls, and continuous improvement. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and anticipate operational risks. Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Bonus Points Experience in high-mix or regulated manufacturing environments. Lean, Six Sigma, or similar CI certification. Project management or automation implementation experience.
