Job Description

Overview Miller Lifting Products is a privately-owned company specializing in manufacturing and distribution of lifting and rigging components for various industrial sectors worldwide. We are seeking a full-time Junior Engineering Associate who will support all aspects of Engineering, focusing on quality control, procedures, and technical drawings. This is a full-time, hourly position. Duties Create/revise 3D models and technical drawings in the program SolidWorks®. Create/revise part numbers and bills of materials. Assist in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes, procedures, and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Perform engineering calculations to support design work. Inspect and test materials, equipment, and products to ensure quality standards are met, while also rectifying any defects or deviations from specifications. Estimate cost of specialty products. Maintain detailed documentation of processes, changes, and improvements, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations and actively promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment. Support sales with technical support, drawings, and creation of marketing material. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of two years of relevant work experience. Experience in design and detailing of structural welds. Good proficiency with Microsoft office suite, CAD (SolidWorks®), and familiarity with ERP systems.
