Job Requirements Chelmsford, MA Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description [About the Role] Join our dynamic Chelmsford Engineering & Technology team as a Project Engineer supporting the Integration & Test Equipment (IT&E) Department. As the focal point for Advanced Programs, you will coordinate and drive engineering projects from planning through completion, ensuring milestones are met and processes continually improve. This high-impact position offers exposure to advanced defense technologies and the opportunity to develop your project leadership skills in a collaborative environment. [Responsibilities]
  • Serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for Advanced Programs, managing budgets and project deliverables
  • Maintain and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for Advanced Test Equipment programs, aligning tasks with key milestones and resource plans
  • Act as the primary material procurement liaison, overseeing requisitions, receipt verification, and kitting operations for Advanced Programs
  • Initiate, lead, and document continuous process improvement projects to optimize project execution and documentation quality
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams
  • Report on project status, risks, and solutions to stakeholders and leadership [Required Skills and Experience]
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience within an engineering or technical environment
  • Proven ability to build relationships across functional teams
  • Active Secret clearance required to start
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite [Preferred Skills]
  • Earned Value Measurement (EVMS) exposure
  • Experience with SAP
  • Defense industry background, especially with engineering or manufacturing
  • Familiarity with DFARS compliance and documentation standards [Benefits]
