Sr. Manufacturing Engineer - NPI Build the future of automation. Lead NPI. Drive manufacturing excellence. Are you the kind of engineer who thrives at the intersection of new product introduction , advanced electromechanical design , and hands?on manufacturing leadership ? This role puts you at the center of bringing next?generation automated devices from concept to production. As a Sr. Mechanical NPI Manufacturing Engineer, you will champion complex device launches, optimize manufacturability, and shape scalable production processes. You'll collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure every new product is built efficiently, reliably, and ready to scale. If you love solving non?routine problems, improving processes, and influencing cross?functional teams, this is your arena. What You'll Lead Own NPI project leadership from concept through production ramp Partner with design engineering to optimize products for DFMA , assembly, and test Identify and mitigate rollout risks using strong process control and end?of?line testing strategies Align cross?functional requirements including BOM structure, procurement strategy, and manufacturability Assess process flow and implement Lean and Six Sigma improvements Develop work instructions, training, and documentation to improve build quality and efficiency Design fixturing and tooling to support production scaling Mentor junior engineers on sustaining engineering and continuous improvement Partner with Quality to reduce NCMR and CAPA?related issues Track and report KPI, OKR, and monthly performance metrics Support cost?reduction initiatives through material, machining, and process analysis What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering 8+ years working with electromechanical assemblies Proven experience supporting NPI launches from concept to production Strong CAD proficiency (SolidWorks or similar) Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot issues Familiarity with GD&T and
DFX/DFMA
best practices Experience with ERP/PLM systems (Dynamics 365 or similar a plus) Strong communication, presentation, and cross?functional leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast?paced environment Onsite role with up to 10 percent travel
